I was mesmerized by the money so I promised to myself that I would work for next fifty years.

The difference is really huge if the point of view is Don Anselmo’s point of view. I think Don Anselmo will tell the story in an old fashion way. The story will contain many of his idea and why he just takes the half price. Some of the part will be cut like the part when the Americans saw the kids play on their territory. In the story, we will be the one who tell the lesson in the story and also the one give out the truth. The feeling also change too. Maybe Don Anselmo feel no surprise when he tell that the tree belong to the kids.

I think that Terry was right to ask his dad about his memories in Vietnam. Terry always felt uncomfortable and embarrassed while saw his dad’s eyes went away or strange things that his father did after came to Vietnam. After asked his dad, Terry knew a little bit about how terrible the Vietnam War was. Terry understood what cause his dad act like that. He felt sad for him. Until that, he was not embarrassed when he saw his dad acted weird. His decision made him a better son and a better person. He also make his relationship between him and his father better.

Jason opened the door and threw his bag plus his jacket to his bed. He took out his stinky socks and put it on the bookself. He moved to the bed and was trying to find something on it. Finally, he pulled out a tshirt from his bed and wore it on. He sat down on a archaic sofa and ate some snack. Then, he crushed the snack and put it under his bed.

Narrative Essay

            I hate swimming. I don’t know why but I just hate it. Every time I tried to swim, it always turns really bad. The first time I learned to swim, I returned home and sick for next three days. But the worst was when I learned to swim in sixth grade in PE class. I was in great danger.
            It was a sunny noon at a pool near my school. It was Tuesday and we had double PE class so we had time for a swimming lesson. We swam at Ki Dong pool that was near my school. It just took about five minutes to get there. Ki Dong pool had two pools: a small one and a really big one so we swam at the big pool. And today, our class had a test on it. How wonderful? I can’t even swim but I still need to take it. My teacher, Mr. David, said that I just need to stay on water for 10 seconds. With someone, that may be easy but it like running ten miles without take a rest for me. He took three people to a corner of the people and testing them. Other people would stay in the pool and wait. I felt really terrified and I really afraid of the test when I was waiting. What happen if I fail? Maybe everyone will laugh at me and my grade drop heavily (even it was really low already). Much pressure was on my head that moment but it all disappeared when Mr. David came and called me for my turn. I calmed down and walked to the corner. I still afraid of the test but I accepted that this must be done and no way I can run from it. With me there were Nick and Darlene. Nick was good at swimming. I saw him swimming at other lessons and the beginning of today lesson. He took the test first. He was excellent and got full point for the test. I was happy for him for a few seconds until I realized that I would be next. I jumped down to the pool slowly that it wasn’t any sound. My hand was like sticking to the side of the pool so I couldn’t flow with the water. I wished that I can stay like that for the end of the period. But when I heard my teacher said:”Start!” my hand immediately let out of the side and my body started moving toward the pool slowly. I couldn’t believe that the test started already. I tried to calm down and control myself even my brain was in chaos. Actually it was really easy to stay on the water. At first, I was a little bit nervous to I closed my eye and pushed my foot and my hand slow to keep me from goes down deeper. Then, I felt my body flowed with the wave from the water and that feeling was so awesome. The time slowly flowed and ten seconds was over. “Hurray! At last.” I thought to myself. Then I turned my body and went out of the pool but I started to go down to the bottom of the pool. The deep of the pool was one point eight meters and I was about one and forty four meters.  I tried to call for help but when I opened my mouth, water came in like I drink something and bubble came out with my air. I couldn’t breathe and I couldn’t see anything too. Everything was so blur, blue and shiny for my eyes. The fear was covering my head and I saw something green in front of me. I pull my arms up and tried really hard to catch it. My hand touched it and it was soft and thin. I realized that it was someone pants but I didn’t care and I used my other hand to catch something black and it felt hairy. “It must be someone hair!” I guess. Then some weak force shot me back deeper and I frightened. That force hit right to my face and pushed me back so my hand let go of the hair and also the pant.   Even it was weak but when I was in situation like this it really effective to me. What can push me back like that? I didn’t have time to think much because the water still came in my mouth. Now, I felt like water was covering my lungs and my whole brain. I closed my eyes and moving my hand up and down really fast hoping that may be it will bring me up. But I guessed it was useless because I still couldn’t breathe. Suddenly, there was something soft catch my hand really hard and pull backward. I was moving forward to the surface and sunlight covering all my face. I was back on the land and crawling around like a zombie. After a few seconds, I gained my strength back so I stood up and let all the water in my throat came out. I felt the pressure from my chest came down and I could breathe easily again. I opened my eye slowly and I saw Nick’s face. He looked a little bit angry but then he laughed and told me what happen. He was looking at the girl but suddenly something crabbed his pant and then his head so he was shocked and gave a lightning hit right into my head. It was funny when I called his hit was a lightning hit. I thought Nick was angry because I interrupted him when he was looking at girls.
            It was a really fun experience for me. But still, I really hate swimming and maybe I will never swim again.

Question 8:
Charlie accepted the operation and getting smarter. When he was really smart, he realized that things around him or people around him are not always good. And people around Charlie started to scare or hate him because of his change. Example like his friends, at first, Charlie thought that Joe and Frank laughed at him and played with him because they're his best friends. But later, Charlie knew that they just used him as a entertainer for them to laugh at and they realized that Charlie knew it and change their attitude with immediately. Those things decreased Charlie's communication to other people heavily. In Adam and Eve, Eve listened to the serpent and ate from the tree of knowledge. Then they knew that they're naked and took leaves to cover it. When the God found out that they ate from the tree, God punished them to the life of normal people like us. The similar is both character get to know so much stuff, feel ashame and get punish or hate. When Charlie drank with Joe and Frank, Charlie understand how mean his friends are and felt like naked when everyone laughing at him because he danced so bad so he ran away from the bar.This part is very similar to what happen when Eve ate from Tree of Knowledge. They're all ashame of them self and want to hide. The unfair things in here was the consequences. Why Charlie had a really bad consequence when he did noting wrong? Adam and Eve got punished because they listened to wrong direction and went against the God. But there is nothing wrong to be smart. They should accept Charlie as him now and start to get use to him.
